Description
Collagen is supplied as native Collagen fibrils (type I) from equine tendons suspended in isotonic glucose solution of pH 2.7. Collagen is used in routine platelet aggregation studies for evaluation of qualitative platelet function disorders & monitoring anti-platelet therapy medications. Platelets adhere to collagen at sites of injury, initiating the aggregation cascade.
