CHRONO-LOG® Model 490 4+4
The Model 490 4+4 is a semi-automated Light Transmittance Aggregometer designed for testing in platelet aggregation studies.
Available in four or eight configurations (via two integrated modules), the CHRONO-LOG® Model 490 4+4 Optical Aggregometer provides advanced measurement of platelet function in plasma samples while offering flexible throughput tailored to diverse laboratory needs.
Utilizing an infrared light source and photo-diode detectors, the Model 490 4+4 accurately measures light transmittance differences between platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and platelet-poor plasma (PPP) channels. This advanced optical design ensures reliable and reproducible results.
The system is complemented by a complete line of reagents optimized for micro-volume testing, providing laboratories with high accuracy while maintaining a low cost per test—ideal for both research and routine clinical use.
